Softball Recap: Graham Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

There's no place like home for Graham, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Glen Rose Tigers 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Steers: when they faced off against the Tigers back in March, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

Graham pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Glen Rose, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Graham will host Brock at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Steers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glen Rose, they will head out on the road to take on Mineral Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
