Darlington waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Lakewood Gators 3-0. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-18, 25-10.

Hannah Johnson paced Darlington's offense, picking up 12 kills. Johnson got some help from Emily Johnson and her six assists. Emily was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Darlington now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lakewood, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coincidentally, Darlington and Lakewood will both be playing South Florence the next time they take the court. The Falcons will host the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Gators will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
