Baseball Recap: Crescent Comes Up Short

Crescent lost against Franklin County back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crescent Tigers fell 7-2 to the Franklin County Lions. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Franklin County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Crescent Tigers challenge Seneca Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin County, they will challenge Redan at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Redan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
