West Davidson won the last time they faced Thomasville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dragons came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 6-2. The win was nothing new for the Dragons as they're now sitting on five straight.
Thomas Hester made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 14 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Carson Correll was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Davis Lomax, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
West Davidson's record is now 16-9. As for Thomasville, they moved to 13-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
As of now, neither West Davidson nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
