Basketball Recap: Castle Park Takes a Loss

Castle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 60-50 to the Sweetwater Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-64 last Wednesday.

Castle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Sweetwater, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Castle Park will square off against Hilltop at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Castle Park is facing Hilltop at the right time seeing as Hilltop is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sweetwater, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southern California Yeshiva at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
