Basketball Recap: Oregon-Davis Comes Up Short

Oregon-Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Winamac Warriors, falling 60-27. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 60-39 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Winamac got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Malchow out in front who went 6 for 9 on his way to 13 points and seven boards. Brendan Hines was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

Oregon-Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Winamac, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Oregon-Davis has already played their next matchup (against Bremen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Winamac will venture away from home to face off against Caston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
