Marsh Valley has gone 9-1 against Snake River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Marsh Valley has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Marsh Valley lost 14-4 to Preston on Wednesday.

Mckelle East was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyiah Van Lueven, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Snake River faced off against South Fremont on Thursday. The Panthers skirted past the Cougars 11-10. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Snake River and bumps their season record up to 3-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Marsh Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season.

Everything went Marsh Valley's way against Snake River when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Marsh Valley made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
