Basketball Recap: Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights vs. Archbishop Carroll Lions
After a string of five wins, the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were outmatched by Archbishop Carroll on the road and fell 79-46.
Despite the loss, Friendship Collegiate Academy still got an impressive performance from Keyon Starkey-webb, who scored 21 points along with three steals. Kameron Grant was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Friendship Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Archbishop Carroll, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Friendship Collegiate Academy will take on the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendship Tech Prep Academy is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road. As for Archbishop Carroll, they will be playing at home against the Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John's knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully the Lions like a good challenge.
