Basketball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Find Success

Hamilton Southeastern won the last time they faced Marion and things went their way on Saturday too. The Royals came out on top against the Giants by a score of 80-67. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Luke Weemer had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kallen Hoeft, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 15 points.

Hamilton Southeastern was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marion only racked up nine.

Tim Jones and Lamarion Anderson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Jones went 8-for-18 to rack up 26 points, while Anderson shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The matchup was Jones' fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Cris'Shawn Guerrero was another key player, putting up eight points and six steals.
