 In what's become a running theme this season, Mountain View gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Borah Lions with a sharp  20-9 win. The  victory was nothing new for Mountain View as they're now sitting on four straight.
  Kathryn Jackson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Jackson was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Mountain View got a  massive  performance out of  Brooke Austin, who  fired off two  home runs and seven  RBI while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Katy Tentinger, who  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 On Borah's side,  Kayla Campbell stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abigail Gardner, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Even though they lost, Borah  lost a few balls and  finished the game with three  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Borah, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-5.
 Mountain View will  take on Capital at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Borah, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Nampa at 5:00  p.m.
