Baseball Recap: Argyle Comes Up Short

Argyle started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Shullsburg. They came up short against the Miners on Friday, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Orioles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Argyle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trent Bidlingmaier, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Argyle's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Shullsburg, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Argyle will take on Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shullsburg will be paying especially close attention to the Orioles' game: after the Orioles face off against River Ridge, they'll take on Shullsburg again at 5:00 p.m. on the 18th.
