Basketball Recap: Wartburg Central Takes a Loss

Wartburg Central lost against Midway back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wartburg Central Bulldogs fell to the Midway Green Wave 71-65. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wartburg Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Midway, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Wartburg Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midway, they will face off against Oliver Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Oliver Springs sitting on nine straight victories and Midway on three.
