Baseball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

If Milton was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Pine Forest last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Milton Panthers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays on Monday. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Milton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Albrecht, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Milton fell to 3-1. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Coming up, Milton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Niceville at 6:30 p.m. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, they will take on Atmore Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
