Softball Game Preview: Pulaski County Maroons vs. Somerset Briar Jumpers

The Pulaski County Maroons will head out on the road to square off against the Somerset Briar Jumpers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Pulaski County's offense. They came up short against Greenwood on Saturday, falling 10-0. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Somerset came into Thursday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Whitley County by a score of 4-0 on Thursday.

The win got Somerset back to even at 8-8. As for Pulaski County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Pulaski County took their victory against Somerset in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Maroons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Briar Jumpers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
