Softball Game Preview: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. Randleman Tigers

The Eastern Randolph Wildcats will square off against the Randleman Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

It was a proper cat-fight when Eastern Randolph challenged Ledford on Wednesday. The Wildcats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eastern Randolph saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegan Beaver, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Hailey Ritter was another, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Randleman's offense. They came up short against West Forsyth on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Eastern Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Randleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
