The Columbia Bruins will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Fort Vancouver Trappers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Columbia was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Fort Vancouver on Tuesday. Columbia put the hurt on Fort Vancouver with a sharp 21-4 win. The Bruins not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8, 2024.

Kai Brasuell made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Brasuell was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
