Baseball Game Preview: Alisal Trojans vs. Monte Vista Christian Mustangs

For the second straight game, Alisal will face off against Monte Vista Christian. The Trojans will face off against the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alisal's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Monte Vista Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Monte Vista Christian hit Alisal with a four-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans fell 9-4 to the Mustangs. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

For Monte Vista Christian's part, Parker Brown made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
