Volleyball Recap: Whitko Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Whitko came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Southwood Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since August 26th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Whitko still got an impressive performance from Caitlin Beer, who had seven digs and three blocks.

Whitko's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Southwood, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitko will head out to challenge Wawasee at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Southwood, they will square off against Northfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
