Softball Recap: Palisades Pumas vs. Stuart W. Cramer Storm
Palisades was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stuart W. Cramer Storm.
Gracie Goodrich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Janiya Johnson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Stuart W. Cramer, they moved to 3-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palisades will face off against South Mecklenburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pumas' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sabres have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Stuart W.
