Recap: Corliss Trojans vs. Harlan Falcons
The Corliss Trojans suffered their biggest defeat since November 21, 2023 on Thursday. They were outmatched by Harlan on the road and fell 64-33. Corliss was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harlan apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Despite the defeat, Corliss had strong showings from D?Mario Sanders, who scored ten points along with three steals and two blocks, and Keyshawn Petty, who scored four points along with three steals. Petty has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.
Corliss' defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Harlan, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
Corliss will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fenger at 4:30 p.m. As for Harlan, they will head out on the road to take on Urban Prep-Bronzeville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
