Flag Football Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 28-13 to the Thomas Jefferson Spartans. The Commanders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The critical scores for Thomas Jefferson came from Sarah Mohamed, Ahnia (AH-KNEE-YA) Wilson-English, Izzy Duran, and Ayanah Sandoval.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Thomas Jefferson, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Kennedy has already played their next contest, a 15-7 defeat against Lincoln on the 9th. As for Thomas Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 54-0 loss against Manual on the 9th.
