Baseball Game Preview: Fountain Valley Barons vs. Edison Chargers

For the second straight game, Fountain Valley will face off against Edison. The Barons will be playing at home against the Chargers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Fountain Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Wednesday, Fountain Valley got the win against Edison by a conclusive 9-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Barons have posted against the Chargers since April 7, 2022.

Fountain Valley got a great performance from D'Angelo Diaz as he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The dominant performance also gave Diaz a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
