Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Chico walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Pleasant Valley Vikings on Tuesday as they made off with a 4-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Chico has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those nine games. Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Chico take on the Corning at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive. Pleasant Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
