Auburn Mountainview's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Beamer Titans by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Auburn Mountainview picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-13. As for Beamer, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Auburn Mountainview is set to face off against their familiar foe Jefferson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Beamer will challenge rival Kent-Meridian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
