Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask ABF Academy Homestead). Everything went their way against the TNXL Miami Stars on Tuesday as they made off with a 21-12 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bandits.

Ashton Rafaela tossed a big game, pitching 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Farens Wooter, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of ABF Academy Homestead's success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 3-14 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Gianni Koeiman, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

ABF Academy Homestead's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for TNXL Miami, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, TNXL Miami will face off against ABF Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. ABF Academy Homestead will be paying especially close attention to the Stars' contest: after the Stars faces off against the Cowboys, they'll take on ABF Academy Homestead again at 2:30 p.m. on the 30th.
