Soccer Recap: Boaz Comes Up Short

Boaz and Guntersville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Boaz had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that Boaz have lost by exactly four goals.

Boaz's loss dropped their record down to 12-11-5. As for Guntersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4-1 record this season.

Boaz does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Guntersville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Indian Springs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Springs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Guntersville surely won't give up without a fight.
