Tyson Clay and Devyn Zahursky secure win for Berea-Midpark

Recap: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Avon Eagles

Even though the Avon Eagles scored an imposing 70 points on Tuesday, the Berea-Midpark Titans still came out on top. Berea-Midpark walked away with a 79-70 win over Avon. The win made it back-to-back wins for Berea-Midpark.

Berea-Midpark was led to victory by Tyson Clay and Devyn Zahursky. Clay scored 21 points along with five assists, while Zahursky dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Clay has scored at least 25% of Berea-Midpark's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Clay, who scored 18 points.

Berea-Midpark's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Avon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Berea-Midpark will head out on the road to face off against North Ridgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Avon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Midview at 7:00 p.m. Midview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 435th, while Avon is ranked 121st).
