Brentwood is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Hewitt-Trussville. The Bruins walked away with a 2-0 win over the Huskies. The victory was familiar territory for the Bruins, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Raina Walters and Daisy Oatsvall, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Lauren Duncan and her ten assists. Lindsey Large controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Brentwood's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Hewitt-Trussville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Brentwood has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Collierville on the 6th. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against DeSoto Central on the 6th.
