Softball Game Preview: Costa Mesa Mustangs vs. Tustin Tillers

The Costa Mesa Mustangs will challenge the Tustin Tillers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Costa Mesa has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 26.

Costa Mesa lost 21-10 to Westminster on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Tustin fell victim to Newport Harbor and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Sailors, falling 10-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Tillers were not able to get on the board.

Costa Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Tustin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Costa Mesa might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from Tustin in their previous matchup back in March of 2015. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
