Volleyball Recap: Apollo Comes Up Short

Apollo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the West Point Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for West Point, their win ended an eight-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Apollo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Independence on the 20th. As for West Point, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Tolleson on the 20th.
