Softball Recap: South Pemiscot's Run of Five Straight Victories Now Over

It was a good run, but South Pemiscot unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 15-3 to the Bernie Mules. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 15-5 to the Mules when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ayleighonna Farmer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and earned two runs and two stolen bases. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Khyla Edwards also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

South Pemiscot's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Bernie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

South Pemiscot will face off against Cooter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bernie, they will take on Holcomb at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
