Basketball Recap: Northeast Lauderdale Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northeast Lauderdale can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-42 to the Itawamba Agricultural Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Trojans have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Northeast Lauderdale's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Itawamba Agricultural, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Northeast Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they will challenge South Pontotoc at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Pontotoc will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Itawamba Agricultural surely won't give up without a fight.
