Soccer Recap: Lake Worth Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lake Worth's offense. They fell just short of the Springtown Porcupines by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Bullfrogs have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Lake Worth and nudges their season record down to 9-6-4. As for Springtown, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5-5.

Looking ahead, Lake Worth will head out to square off against Mineral Wells at 11:00 a.m. on March 15th. Lake Worth's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Springtown will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Hills at 5:30 p.m. on March 17th.
