Baseball Recap: Lincoln County Takes a Loss

Lincoln County lost to St. Albans back in April of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Dragons. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Isaac Byrd made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lincoln County's record now sits at 15-13. As for St. Albans, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lincoln County will venture away from home to challenge Herbert Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Albans, they will take on Nitro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
