After flying high against Manassas Park last Wednesday, Osbourn Park came back down to earth. The Osbourn Park Yellowjackets took a 71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Unity Reed Lions on Friday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Unity Reed got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Charles Pargo out in front who went 13 of 23 on his way to 35 points and seven rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Pargo has scored at least a third of Unity Reed's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ralph Oshokoya, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards.

Osbourn Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Unity Reed, they moved to 6-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Osbourn Park will face off against Patriot at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Patriot knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Osbourn Park likes a good challenge. As for Unity Reed, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-66 defeat against Stafford on the 25th.
