Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Half Moon Bay). They breezed past the Terra Nova Tigers to the tune of 59-28 on Thursday. With the Cougars ahead 36-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

When it comes to explaining why Terra Nova lost, don't look at Joey Donati. Despite the final result, he threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and one score. Isaiah Birch Corona was Donati's top target, picking up 92 receiving yards and one TD.

The win was the third in a row for Half Moon Bay, bringing their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.7 points over those games. As for Terra Nova, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.
