Baseball Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss

Stratford lost against Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans fell 7-4 to the Royals. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly three runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Stratford and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Stratford will head out on the road to face off against Kenwood at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they will welcome Hume-Fogg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Royals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Knights have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
