Basketball Game Preview: Marsh Valley Eagles vs. Snake River Panthers

Marsh Valley is on a three-game streak of home losses, Snake River a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Wednesday. The Marsh Valley Eagles will welcome the Snake River Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Saturday, Marsh Valley was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to American Falls.

Meanwhile, Snake River had to suffer through a 59-28 loss at the hands of Bear Lake. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Bears are ranked eighth).

Marsh Valley now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Snake River, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.

Everything came up roses for Marsh Valley against Snake River in their previous matchup last Friday, as the squad secured a 59-18 win. Will Marsh Valley repeat their success, or does Snake River have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
