Football Recap: Southview Comes Up Short

Southview lost against Findlay back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Trojans are ranked 99th).

Southview is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Findlay, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Southview has already played their next matchup, a 48-6 defeat against Perrysburg on the 19th. As for Findlay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-0 victory against Ross on the 19th.
