Providence Academy extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Gavin Winfrey. Providence Academy claimed a resounding 83-46 victory over the King's Academy Lions thanks in part to Winfrey, who posted 24 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Blanton, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game.

Providence Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for King's Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Academy will welcome Christian Academy of Knoxville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence Academy's defense better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 53.7 points per game this season. As for King's Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Concord Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy will need to watch out since Concord Christian has now posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
