Softball Recap: Laurens Comes Up Short

Laurens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 11-7 to the Wren Hurricanes. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-6 defeat two weeks ago.

Carly Edwards made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie McCullough, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Laurens' loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Wren, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

As of now, neither Laurens nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
