Recap: KIPP College Prep Panthers vs. SEED DC
On Friday, the KIPP College Prep Panthers faced SEED DC in a battle between two of the state's top teams. KIPP College Prep was dealt a 54-21 loss at the hands of SEED DC. KIPP College Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead SEED DC to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyonna Hiton, who scored 14 points. Kamarah Glasgow was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
KIPP College Prep now has a losing record at 1-2. As for SEED DC, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
KIPP College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Idea at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (Idea is ranked eighth, while KIPP College Prep is ranked 14th). SEED DC will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bowie at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
