Volleyball Recap: Palatine Falls Short of New Trier in the Playoffs

Palatine and New Trier squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Palatine had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trevians by a score of 2-1. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Trevians when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Palatine started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Palatine's loss dropped their record down to 18-18. As for New Trier, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Palatine nor New Trier have any future games scheduled.
