Volleyball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Takes a Loss

Mishawaka Marian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-11.

Mishawaka Marian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Mishawaka Marian will head out on the road to square off against Elkhart at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they will be taking part in a tournament against South Bend Riley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
