Basketball Recap: Lewisville Comes Up Short

Lewisville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Coppell Cowboys and fell 95-51. While losing is never fun, the Farmers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Cowboys are ranked 192nd).

Lewisville's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Coppell, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-15 record.

Lewisville will challenge Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewisville is facing Hebron at the right time seeing as Hebron is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Coppell, they will face off against Braswell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
