There's no place like home for Rockport-Fulton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the West Oso Bears on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 back in February.

Jaxon Keown was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Sean Howell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Rockport-Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for West Oso, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Rockport-Fulton will square off against Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockport-Fulton's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Jones' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Oso, they will be playing at home against Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Oso is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
