While Howell put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Novi. The Highlanders breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 42-0. Considering the Highlanders have won four contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bryce Kish continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 93 yards and four touchdowns. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Kish was just one part of a punishing run game: Howell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Howell, bringing their record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.3 points on average over those games. As for Novi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Howell will take on rival Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Highlanders 10.1, the Bulldogs 12.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Novi is set to square off against their familiar foe Northville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
