Baseball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster lost against Quartz Hill last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Quartz Hill, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lancaster will challenge rival Littlerock at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Quartz Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Knight at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
