Recap: Happy Valley Warriors vs. Tri-Cities Christian Eagles
The Happy Valley Warriors were the 48-35 winner over the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Happy Valley fell 50-43 to Tri-Cities Christian on Thursday.
Tri-Cities Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Michaela Dixon out in front who scored 17 points along with three steals. Dixon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Greene, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Happy Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Tri-Cities Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Happy Valley will take on Johnson County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Johnson County is ranked 307th, while Happy Valley is ranked 299th). As for Tri-Cities Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m.
