Softball Recap: Knightstown Panthers vs. Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles
Knightstown hadn't done well against Cambridge City Lincoln recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers skirted past the Golden Eagles 12-11. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 win the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mae Hersberger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and six unearned) runs off nine hits.
